If you have a wine cellar or just love great wine, we have the perfect item you: Wine Decanting Machine. Machines were developed in the nineteenth century to create a means of separating the sediment from red wine either for direct pouring to the glass or more often as an aid to the decanting process.
Decanting wine is about showmanship and making wine tasting an experience. Place the bottle in the cradle and slowly turn the crank. The wine pours slowly out of the bottle keeping all the sediment in the bottle and not in your decanter.
Many bottles of wine have sediment in them, and this is the perfect way to keep the sediment in the bottle and not in your glass. We took this design from a late 19th century French wine pourer which we faithfully reproduced, all bronze with a solid mahogany wood base.
In Downton Abbey, Carson is decanting His Lordship’s Wine with a similar wine pourer!
Base measures 12.5” long, 8.5” wide and 9” high. Price $400.00
